Using the Snapshot Storage Configuration Tab

You must have Root scope to use this feature.

The System | Data Processor | Data Management | Snapshot Storage Configuration tab lets you configure external storage locations for snapshot backup/restore, cold storage, and exporting indices.You must configure the external storage location before configuring those features.

The Snapshot Storage Configuration tab was named External Storage Configuration prior to the 4.3.7 release.

Note that only the listed storage locations are supported. Other storage locations (such as, for example, Google Cloud Platform storage) are not. Google Cloud Platform storage is, however, supported for data sink storage.
