Continuing Setup in the Full Knowledge Base

After you can log in to the Stellar Cyber Platform, continue configuring administrative access and data collection using the full Knowledge Base for your deployment.

  1. Select the question mark Help icon in the top-right menu bar of the Stellar Cyber Platform.

  2. Select Knowledge Base Home to open the full Knowledge Base for your deployment.

  3. If prompted, register for Knowledge Base access or sign in. Contact your Stellar Cyber representative if you need help obtaining access.

The Help menu also provides a Knowledge Base topic for the current page. Use that option for instructions while working on a particular configuration screen.

Administrative Infrastructure

  • Authentication Setup — Establish the authentication method and two-factor authentication requirements for your organization.

  • Additional Users — Add users and assign the appropriate scope and privileges.

  • Tenants, if Needed — Create and configure tenants when your deployment requires them.

Data Collection

Configure the following components as required by your environment:

  • Sensors — Install and configure sensors, including the receivers and sensor profiles they use. For a newly installed on-premises cluster, complete the receiver configuration described in the full installation guide before connecting data sources.

  • Connectors & Integrations — Configure connections to the products and services supplying security data.

  • Parsers — Configure log sources to send logs using the appropriate parsers and network settings.

Then follow the verification instructions in the full Knowledge Base to confirm that data is arriving.
