Deploying Server Sensors from the Agents Page

The System | DATA SOURCE MANAGEMENT | Sensors | Agents page provides tools that help you deploy both Linux and Windows Server Sensors—there are separate tabs for each.

Server Sensors are installed on an existing host as a system daemon process and contrast with device sensors, which install as dedicated appliances.

• Linux—The options in the Linux tab help you perform bulk deployments of Linux Server Sensors using an Ansible playbook.

• Windows—The options in the Windows tab help you create customized MSI and MST files for bulk deployment of Windows Server Sensors.

  Refer to Windows Server Sensor Deployment Tools (MSI and MST Files) for details.
